Coffee and community go hand in hand, so the Student Organization Center at Hilles (SOCH) enjoys sustenance at the Penthouse Coffee Bar. Featuring Pura Vida fair trade coffee and espresso-based drinks, blended coffees, pizzas, wings and nuggets, and other snacks and bottled beverages, the coffee bar will be student operated and managed with modest oversight by Harvard University Dining Services. Set at the penthouse level of the SOCH, surrounded by extensive conference and meeting space and sharing a seating area with the performance space and recording studio, the Penthouse Coffee Bar will be a lively site for creativity and collaboration. Open late in keeping with student life, the cafˇ will offer vending and a 24-hour-a-day self-serve espresso machine during non-operating hours. Catering for building events and meetings may be obtained through the Penthouse. Orders should be coordinated with the coffee bar manager a minimum of 36 hours in advance.
